I’m doing the Bridge to 2030: Climb for Breast Cancer Research and taking on the Sydney Harbour Bridge to help National Breast Cancer Foundation raise $1million to keep their researchers on the road to discovery, and help them reach their goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

Research is the only way to prevent deaths from breast cancer – but for researchers, it can be difficult to secure funding. The chance of a medical researcher receiving government funding is only 14%, and there are an increased number of applications every year. National Breast Cancer Foundation is helping to close this gap – and keep researchers in the lab, where they belong, searching for breakthroughs that can save lives.
